One tool that we at Blue Globe have found to be indispensable for Strategy and Strategic Business Planning is a core set of linking data that maps all the key components of a good enterprise Vision to a good set of core Strategies and tangible Strategic Objectives. We've built the core components of this data model into Strategic Business Plan Architect (see Figure 1, below), which is still in development.
