PMO Architecture and Rollout Engagement
Peter Walzer, Blue Globe Management Consulting's Principal consultant, provided the initial rationale, conceptual design, architecture, rollout, and training for a regional Gas & Electric Utility's implementation of a Project Management Office (PMO) for the firm's entire Electric Distribution Organization (EDO). The PMO rollout supported multiple Portfolios, Programs, and over a hundred existing projects. In addition, the rollout included full PMO Dashboard, Project/Resource Scheduling, Status Reporting, Communication / Organizational Change Management workbooks, and Demand Management capabilities. After the initial PMO rollout, Mr. Walzer worked with the utiltity's Senior Management to help integrate the PMO into the EDO and train and mentor the client's new PMO Manager.
